What is the Rural Transportation Improvement Program (TIP)?  Each District develops their own Rural TIP  Part of the Statewide TIP  Includes the following types of projects: – Maintenance – Added Capacity – Safety – Public Transit  Only includes Projects for Counties and Areas not in the Corpus Christi Metropolitan Planning Organization (CCMPO)  The CCMPO develops their own TIP Corpus Christi District FY 2019 – FY 2022 Rural TIP 6

Rural Public Transportation Services  The Corpus Christi District is served by four Rural Transit Districts that provide rural public transportation services  Each Rural Transit District receives funding as part of the Rural TIP  This funding comes through TxDOT from the Federal Transit Administration Corpus Christi District FY 2019 – FY 2022 Rural TIP 12
