Four Limited Exclusivity Agreements (LEAs):
- Three complied with the research and
emergency exceptions
- One didn’t include research exception per
deviation (approved by CO in 2013)
- One request for blanket deviation (not
approved)

patents
- Track impact of LEAs and RUAs on target
beneficiaries
- Share best practices with other centers and
leverage these resources when drafting agreements
