What's the differences to "normal" induction?

  • We would usually run induction over 3 days in
  • school. You would have an hour and a half with me,

rest of the time would be going to taster sessions in your chosen subjects.

  • In "normal" years there would be no transition tasks as

you would be too busy with GCSEs

  • We have decided not to try and do taster

sessions online. Main reason is the transition task give a very good idea about the subjects we offer. These tasks mean you have spent more time and got more insight into chosen subjects than in a "normal" year so in some ways better than taster sessions.

  • Nailsea students – when you pick

up your results you will have a slip in your envelope telling you what to do next.

  • Students from other schools – I will

email you on the address I hold for you to remind you of what I'm about to say.

On results day at midday an enrolment form will go live on the 6th form page of our school website. If you want to come to our 6th form – fill this in. Form closes 11.45pm 27 Aug If you have to decided to go elsewhere, no need to contact me, just don't fill it in. THIS IS REALLY IMPORTANT
