  • Food distribution in some locations experienced delays due to ongoing

changes in customs administration. The situation was resolved through the intervention of the National Ebola Incident Management System.

  • The frequent change in geographic location of the outbreak required

WFP to put in place preparedness measures including the deployment

  • f staff and logistics capacity in all 15 counties that will allow for rapid

response to new hotspots as they emerged.

  • Organizing food distribution for EVD orphans in different locations in all
