• Sponsored by Air Products and Chemicals, Inc., the award was created in 1978 in memory of

Leonard Parker Pool, the founder and former chief executive of Air Products and Chemicals,

• Inc. The awards are presented annually to participating CGA member companies that have

recorded the greatest improvement in safety performance during the previous two years, and is based upon the total recordable case incidence rates as defined by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.

• FIBA earned this award by lowering ITS company-wide incident rate by 47% over the prior two

History

• FIBA was founded in 1958 as a distributor of medical gases. In 1978 FIBA

diversified into the leasing of high pressure gas trailers and for nearly 40 years has become the world’s leading manufacturer and packager of equipment to store and transport high pressure and liquefied gases. Core Strengths of FIBA

3-Bank Cascade Hydrogen Refueling Station – 500 BAR, 700 BAR and 1,034 BAR

Addition of a 700 BAR middle zone between 500 BAR and 1,034 BAR zones introduces the following system improvements:

• Allows cascading of more vehicles before compressor starts.
• Reduces min-max pressure range (stress intensity) within a cycle, increasing fatigue life of the pressure vessel.
