Methods used to test and assess the existing pavement condition:

 Pavement Condition Index (PCI) Rating  Test Pits  Falling Weight Deflectometer (FWD) and Ground Penetrating

gravel base thicknesses, as well as evaluate the subgrade soils

The following inspections are completed to determine what utility repairs will be required

 Visual inspection of all storm/sanitary sewer structures  Televising of all storm/sanitary sewer pipe  Spot excavation of water main valve boxes to inspect the

Assessment Terms

  • May be paid within 30 days of adoption to avoid any interest charges.
  • Assessment payable over 15 years.
  • Interest Rate is 1.5% above the bond rate.
  • Partial payment is allowed (minimum $500).
  • Pending assessment is listed for the property once the project is
  • rdered.
  • Deferral is available (disability, military, 65 years of age or older) -

Proof is needed for deferrals. Interest still accrues during deferral period.
