Exploring Public/Private Partnership: Relief during Times of Peace and Disaster MIAMI, FL-May 28, 2009- Close to 100 government officials, corporations, and non-profit organizations gathered aboard the Carnival Cruise Ship Destiny at the Port of Miami for the AmericasRelief Team’s Regional Crisis Relief Annual Luncheon. The event focused primarily on bridging the gaps between public and private sectors in order to Annual Luncheon.   • Dr. Teo A. Babun, Jr., Executive Director of AmericasRelief Team presented Excellence in Leadership Awards to

Seafreight Agencies, Inc. and Neighbors 4 Neighbors for their efforts in the 2008 Hurricane Relief Initiative. Introduction of officials representing the countries of: Jamaica, Haiti, Barbados, and Canada were made prior to a five course lunch, sponsored by Carnival Cruise Lines aboard the Destiny.
