  2. Public procurers have a variety of needs and “wish lists” for cloud procurement. Privacy and security remain high on the list of priorities TERM & CONDITIONS TRANSPARENCY (SLAs) IN CATALOGUE OF SERVICES & LIST OF PROVIDERS PRIVACY & SECURITY COMPLIANCE CONTRACT MONITORING JOINT PROCURAMENT & CLOUD MARKET PLACES (e.g., procurement platforms) Deck Title Proprietary and confidential. Cloud standards have a important role to play to meet procurers’ needs and facilitate public procurement in Europe by making it more effective and efficient Map standards to my requirements/specifications ( i.e., theses could be sector, domain or service/user case profile specific) . Well-defined standards and well-defined specifications work best Use package of standards for fast development of tenders around service profiles/ use cases Use standards for competitive and target selection of cloud services and providers Use standards for guidance on re-usable solutions Cloud Standards as enabler Use standards for developing SLAs around service profiles Use standards for monitoring services and SLAs and to budget the cost of cloud computing services (year estimation) especially when you are procuring for a group of public sector entitles Use standards to support compliance 3 Deck Title Proprietary and confidential.   4. The ETSI report provides a key stepping stone for more focused and targeted activities to support procurers and end-users. The way forward might require several activities and different engaged stakeholders Practical guidelines on how Practical guidance on re-usable to use the standards and solutions and monitoring map them to more specific services and SLAs Promote adaption and validation/ requirements/specifications testing for emerging standards (i.e., map package of Way Forward standards to service profiles/ user cases) Assess and design strategies for cloud ETSI REPORTS Fill the gaps (i.e., more standard integration into complete map of procurement market standards) places /platforms (e.g. EU Catalogue) Who ? Level of adaptation (i.e. standards are used by procurers and included in MS market places/ catalogue) 2. Standards have been validated and tested ( i.e., they 1. Align & work) harmonise European 3.
