ENKA’s involvement in hospital projects began in 1989, with the turn-key contract in Moscow, the Russian Federation for the 1000-bed Hospital for World War II Veterans. In the following years, ENKA continued to build various hospitals and health centers; total bed capacity of which exceeds 2,630.

The complex is to include an oncology center, a multidisciplinary clinic, a rehabilitation and sports medicine center, an educational complex and a nuclear medicine center. All the buildings will be connected by galleries. The complex will have a world-class range of modern diagnostic and medical equipment. It will

Project’s total indoor construction area, approximately 11,495 m², consists of three separate buildings, including the Multifunctional Medical Centre, Multiflat Residential House and New Laundry. The centre includes patient rooms with the total of 28 beds, 5 VIP rooms, 1 day-stay room and 8 intensive care units. The center also comprises

  • utpatient clinic that has the latest technological

medical scanning systems and equipment. The New Laundry Building is located within the boundaries of the “City Hospital Complex” and is a 2 storey building. The facility is equipped with modern laundry equipment and devices with a washing, drying and disinfecting capacity of 4 tons/hr.

The Perinatal Center consists of 3 adjacent blocks, separated by expansion joints: Block A – the main medical center with a basement and 5-storey above ground; Block B – the main food preparation center with a basement and one above ground floor; Block C – a spa and rehabilitation center with a basement and 3-storey above ground. The hospital includes an in-patient ward with 87 beds and encompasses:

  • Obstetrics department: 50 beds, including a 37-bed

physiology ward and a 13-bed pregnancy pathology ward

  • Neonatal center: 17 beds including a 5-bed

rehabilitation center for older children (1-3 years) and a 12-bed newborn pathology department

In 2004, ENKA and MD Project 2000 signed a contract for the engineering and construction works

  • f Perinatal Medical Centre with 103 beds, including

all MEP systems as well as medical gas, garbage collection and vacuum dust systems in Moscow. When commissioned, the hospital was the first and largest private multi-service maternity hospital in the Russian Federation. The design of the maternity hospital, including the incorporation of its medical technology was completed in four months.

In 1992, ENKA signed a contract for the construction

  • f the hospital with Technostroy-export, the foreign

trade organization acting on behalf of the owner, the “General Department of Housing, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.” The 250 bed hospital was constructed as part the Tchaikovsky Military Housing Project. The contract included the delivery and installation of medical equipment. The building has a total construction area of 30,000 m² and equipped with fully automated HVAC, fire-fighting, security and medical gas systems.
