What is this program?

A program designed to serve, educate and empower the low to moderate income residents of Orange County to conserve their energy dollars and empower them to acquire more disposable income.

Who are our clients?

Consumers that are not HEAP eligible, are eligible to apply for the Fuel Fund. Both HEAP and Fuel Fund consumers can apply for and become Energy Savers consumers.

Our intent is to reduce the barriers associated with consumers applying for a financial assistance programs. By building

Energy Conservation Workshops for Adults

Provide a brief overview of key energy savings measures that can be accomplished by the attendee with ease. Attendees receive a small weatherization kit, which allows them to take their first step towards energy conservation without much effort.

Hands on / visual activities to teach children ages 3-12 water conservation as well as a better understanding of the basic concepts of energy conservation.

  • 2. Workshop initiatives = $50.00

(attend 3 = $150.00)

  • 3. Consumer deposit = $390.00

$5.00 x 78 weeks (18 month time frame)

  • 4. 1 to 1 match = $390.00

(up to the first $500.00)
