Background on eDay/FID

Presented three years ago when Mr. Friend challenged CASD staff to propose creative means to cut costs and/or increase efficiencies. The idea gained nation-wide attention last year after an unusually high number of school cancellations due to weather. This past fall, PDE presented the opportunity for LEAs to develop plans.
