Purpose of EB-5 Immigrant Investor

• The EB-5 program has been designed to provide a green card to

foreign investors who invest in economic development in the United States, especially in high unemployment areas

• Foreign investors must invest $1 million in a U.S. business, or

$500,000 in a Targeted Employment Area, which must be used to create or preserve a minimum of 10 full-time jobs

Apply for I-526 from US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) 16-18 months National Visa Center (NVC) issues a visa fee invoice when priority date is current 4-6 months Pay visa fees & submit DS-260 to NVC After submitting DS-260 the next step occurs within 2 months Visa interview at local US Consular Office Invitation letter & interview within 2 months Obtain Immigrant Visa; Travel to the United States to
