Tešanj Municipality is located in the area between central and north -eastern Bosnia and according to the territorial organization of Bosnia and Herzegovina (B&H) this municipality belongs to the northwestern part of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FB&H) and it's one of twelve municipalities of Zenica-Doboj Canton. The municipality is located on the most important routes (M 17, M4 and RP 474) connecting Tešanj with other big cities in B&H, while future 5C transnational corridor will connect B&H with Central Europe and the Adriatic coast.
