was known to his family as an "inventor" by the age of five In the late 1930s, Camras was studying electrical engineering at the Armour Institute of Technology (now the Illinois Institute of Technology).

Julien Branlard begins work at Fermilab today as the first John Bardeen Engineering Fellow. A recent graduate of the Illinois Institute of Technology, Julien Branlard is the first recipient of the John Bardeen Engineering Fellowship.

"Julien will make an outstanding addition to

Fermilab," said Ralph Pasquinelli, Accelerator Division RF

Department Head and the inspiration behind the fellowship. "He's an articulate, talented team player who will hit the ground running with his outstanding engineering skills."

Branlard began his studies in France and transferred to the Illinois Institute of Technology in 2000. After

a prototype for a rechargeable « nanoelectrofuel » flow battery that may extend the range of EV’s (Electric Vehicles) to at least 500 miles & provide a straightforward & rapid method of refueling.

SSB Scholarship policy

(Effective August 19, 2013 – may be subject to change for Fall 2014)

• GRE/GMAT score must be still valid at the time of application
• Other academic & professional criteria – work accomplishments,

experience, previous honors and awards are considered

• Not eligible to students who receive a GMAT/GRE waiver during

the admission process

• Once admitted, students must be full-time enrolled (9 ch per

semester) in a SSB program with courses approved as part of the Stuart degree program

• GRE 310-315 ( GMAT 600-649) upto 3,000 USD per semester
• GRE 316-321 (GMAT 650-699) upto 4,000 USD per semester
• GRE 322+ (GMAT 700+) upto 5,000 USD per semester

 All admitted students take the Professsional Communication Advancement program (PCA)  Not based on the TOEFL/IETLS/PTE scores  Upon arrival, students take a series of tests to assess their English Language proficiency and per the assessment results are then placed in a customized course plan based on their language needs

Procedure:

• Selected by school – name submitted to IIT France
• Go to http://iitparis.free.fr click on Graduate non-degree and follow the

steps

• Send required docs (incl certified copy of transcript in english only, VIA

EMAIL to IIT France office

• IIT France will distribute the dossier to the 3 professors you are asked

to identify within 1 department at IIT Chicago

• MUST CHOOSE ONLY ONE DEPARTMENT AT IIT
• IF APPROVED BY THE PROFESSOR AT IIT, IIT France OFFICE will

inform you, after which you will send your certified transcripts in the native language and english, and the Financial support form IN ORIGINAL BY POST, directly to the Department coordinator at IIT. You will be informed where to send the documents once approved.
