FAMILY OF GAMES

TASK – What Are The Family Of Games?

TARGET – No decisions to make. Lots of time and space to complete tasks COURT – Simple decisions to make through using their previously learned technical skills e.g. where will I defend FIELD – More tactical decisions to be made e.g. where to hit/kick/strike ball before I run – when will I stop NON/PART/FULL INVASION – Some of the most demanding games for children to

  • play. Child’s own personal space is allowed to be pressurised through tackling and/or

interception of the ball. Child must decide whether to pass, shoot or carry the ball
