Открытие Фарабиевских чтений началось с церемонии возложения цветов ректором университета и иностранными гостями памятнику аль- Фараби. Параллельно проходила регистрация участников форума в фойе научной библиотеки, где были организованы мини-экскурсии по библиотеке аль-Фараби, посещение музея аль-Фараби, тематическая книжная выставка.
