Ankur Kamalia, Managing Director

Ankur joined DBG in November 2015 to take up the newly-created role of Group Head of Venture Portfolio Management. Prior to DBG, Ankur managed an investment portfolio for a family office and for a Hedge Fund in Asia. He also acted as a Managing Director at UBS, responsible for Strategy for the Global Investment Banking division in London and worked in Corporate Finance / Capital Markets in New York, Hong Kong and Singapore. Ankur holds an MBA from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill.

Monica Fuchs, Vice President

Monika joined DBG in 2012, before her role in DB1 Ventures, Monika managed projects in DBG’s Strategic Finance department. Prior to DBG, Monika was Assistant Vice President of Commerzbank’s M&A department, on a range of industries on buy and sell-side mandates. Previous corporate finance experience also includes roles held at Rothschild, Deutsche Bank, KPMG and BMW. Monika holds a Diplom-Betriebswirtin and Licenciado Superior from the European School of Business in Reutlingen and Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICADE) in Madrid.

Aditya Goel, Vice President

Aditya joined Deutsche Börse Group in 2017, after completing his MBA at Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania where he was on the board of Wharton’s FinTech initiative and the co-founder of the Penn Artificial Intelligence society. Aditya started his career at PIMCO, California working for the Head of Global Portfolio Management investing across Rates, FX, Equities and Credit across Americas, Europe and Emerging Markets. After PIMCO, Aditya started his own investment platform merging fundamental and quantitative investing in Asia. Aditya has experience across strategic investing, special situations, M&A and private/ public investing through his work experiences with investment funds (PIMCO and Voya) and at Samsung Strategic and Innovation Centre investing in the future of mobility/ self-driving cars/

  • insurance. Aditya completed his undergraduate education at the Indian Institute of Technology in Delhi.

Rebecca Qian Gong, Associate

Rebecca joined DBG in 2013 after graduating from University. She gained her first professional experience in the Young Graduate Program in Clearstream, where she was deeply involved in the planning and executing of the company's strategy through various initiatives and

  • projects. Before joining DB1 Ventures, and whilst at Clearstream, Rebecca was involved in a series of strategic investments and organic

growth projects within the Fintech domain. Rebecca holds a Masters of Economics in Finance from Renmin University of China, a Masters of Science in Banking and Finance from the University of Luxembourg and a Bachelors of Economics in Finance from Renmin University of China.
