The 2013 Trofeo Maserati season comes to a close in Abu Dhabi The final act in the 2013 Maserati Trofeo MC World Series will be staged this week in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The sixth round in the series, held on the Formula 1 circuit, will see all the titles in Maserati’s single-make series handed out. Out-and-out favourite is Renaud Kuppens who could record a one-two after his 2012 success. The Belgian sits on 229 points and seems out of reach with second-placed Mikkel Mac, from Denmark, 52 points off the pace. Having claimed the Trofeo Europa (for leading after the European rounds) and the Pole Position prize (thanks to his six best times recorded during the season), Kuppens could also pocket the Pirelli Team Cup.
