RDC and UTD

  • UTD is part of the DFW RDC Consortium and pay to help support it
  • What this means to you, as a researcher at the RDC, is that the financial

cost of using the RDC is heavily offset and, in many cases, is free

  • A researcher not part of the Consortium or RDC network that wants to

work in our RDC at the Dallas Fed Dallas will pay up to $20,000 a year

  • This is free to UTD associated faculty and graduate students with

approved projects – this can be included as the value of University‐ supported in‐kind support in grant applications

  • This does not necessarily mean there are no financial costs, as some data
  • wners charge for their data; however, both through the RDC and through

UTD, we are looking to pick up these costs when possible

set up a separate seed grant program to help encourage RDC use

  • Awards up to $10,000 to help

researchers prepare a fundable project will be made to UTD tenured/tenure‐track faculty or center directors
