  • Supervised 10 field parties in search of uranium

in Athabasca Basin, successfully discovering four deposits near the Rabbit Lake Mine. This area has become largest source of uranium in the world (Gulf Minerals).

  • Led

Teck into the key property to pioneer discovery and development of the Hemlo Gold Camp (Teck Resources).

  • Staked and explored 42 large properties across

North America resulting in discovery of six new platinum group element deposits (International Platinum Corporation as VP of Exploration).

Shining Tree: The Forgotten tten Gold Camp mp in the the Abiti tibi Greensto stone Belt

  • Gold discovered in Shining Tree

circa 1911

  • With difficult access and expensive

transportation costs exploration efforts ceased in 1912

  • Following WW1, a 35 km wagon

trail from a rail siding at Mile 80 on CNR line running north from Sudbury was completed into Shining Tree area

  • Prospecting resumed and high -

grade gold discoveries were made. Numerous shafts, adits, and trenches were excavated

  • Exploration and developments

slowed through the Great Depression and ceased during WW2

Shining Tree: The Forgotten tten Gold Camp mp in the the Abiti tibi Greensto stone Belt

  • Post WW2 access remained

difficult; first all-weather gravel road completed in 1960

  • At a fixed $35 gold price interest in

gold exploration and mining throughout the entire Abitibi waned

  • Complicating matters, the

Temagami Land Caution (1973- 1995) directly impacted a portion

  • f the Shining Tree Camp with

restrictions to land acquisition, exploration and development

  • Mining patents and leases were

allowed to lapse allowing prospectors and small companies to later acquired claims in a patchwork fashion

  • Small operators with limited

exploration budgets focused efforts

  • n tiny high-grade gold showings

Why is the Abitibi Important? Where is the Shining Tree Gold Camp?

  • Largest greenstone belt in the

world

  • In addition to significant base

metal and iron deposits, over 180 million ounces (5,100 tonnes) gold has been mined since first discovered in 1906

  • Host to no less than 15 mines that

produced in excess of 100 tonnes

  • f gold
  • Most significant gold deposits and

all major mines are associated with two extensive linear geological structures; the Porcupine-Destor Fault and the Larder Lake-Cadillac Break

  • Shining Tree Gold Camp is located

in the southwest portion of the Abitibi along the projected extension of the Larder Lake- Cadillac Break between the

  • perating Young-Davidson (Alamos)

Mine and the advanced development Côté Lake (IAMGOLD) project

Why Shining Tree?

  • Cost effective exploration; paved

all weather road ~600 kms from Toronto

  • Halfway between the major

mining and supply centres of Sudbury and Timmins Ontario.

  • Poorly understood geology with

numerous known gold

  • ccurrences and deposits
  • Major structure passing through

area with local Syenite Intrusions

  • Under explored with only limited

and very localized modern mineral exploration techniques applied through Camp

  • Ability to acquire Camp scale

land package bookended by large low grade multi-million ounce gold deposits (Cote Lake, and Juby)

Platinex Shining Tree Accomplishments

  • Actively entered the Camp

in 2008

  • Amassed a 14,850 ha

property in the central portion of the Shining Tree Camp

  • Acquired a 21 km long

section over the poorly explored Ridout-Tyrrell Deformation Zone

  • Acquired the former

Caswell, Herrick, and Churchill Mine properties along with portions and extensions to the Ronda and Gold Corona Mine properties

slide-11
SLIDE 11

Platinex Shining Tree Accomplishments

  • Has exploration agreements with two

local First Nations and is permitted to complete work on the project by the Province of Ontario

  • Initiated a district scale overburden test

pitting programme identifying significant gold in till anomalies

  • Initiated detailed geological mapping and

sampling over some of the known gold showings and deposits to better understand geology and mechanisms to mineralization

  • Has completed limited shallow drill

testing on some older showings expanding knowledge of geology, alteration, mineralization and down dip potentials

  • Has completed a NI43-101 (June 2018)

where recommendations are made to complete a $635,000 exploration programme which includes airborne gradient magnetics, Lidar, and diamond drilling

Unexplored section of Ridout-Tyrrell Deformation Zone; on strike and 3 kms north-west of Gold Corona

  • Additional financing Shining

Tree exploration through synergistic relations with senior companies, supported equity raises, royalty option sale, corporate combination

  • r other initiative
  • Expansion of Shining Tree

property through acquisition

  • f adjacent properties
  • Looking to rebrand company,
