4.1 war ship – off Liepaja Cargo ship: Transportdampfer ILMENAU • Sunk 10.04.1945 on approach to the port of LIEPAJA – Cargo: Ammunition for Army: – Wrack is sufficiently filled with ammunition, according to report of Latvian Navy (2006) Documents • Construction plan or other ship documents were lost in Hamburg – (war time and flood 1962) Loading list was not found, thus no credible information about types of ammunition – Possible sources of data: • German Fed. Archives, Dep. military archive (Freiburg) – Army ‐ support organization • Navy transport organization • War ministry • Between 100 and 500 m documents !!!!!! – 4.2 period after WW II • M/S Jan Heweliusz – Position: 54° 36 ′ N, 14° 13 ′ O – the wreck of the ship is located at the depth of 17 to 27 metres and is frequently visited by divers

Dumped hazardous waste • The Meeting is invited to discuss available information on dumped hazardous waste – Information about bottles with Chlorine gas and Phosgene in Lübeck Bight – officially dumped waste (hospital) – current position unknown 6.
