  18. Transit Oriented Development RTD’s FasTracks program includes a North Metro commuter rail line currently under construction. The 18.5 mile electric commuter rail line is scheduled for completion at the end of 2018, opening in 2019 Commerce City will have a station stop at E. 72 nd Avenue at Colorado Blvd. There is a Master Plan for the station area and there are several sites available for transit-oriented development.
