  5.  ATTENDANCE A student who is absent more than nine (9) days within a semester or more than four (4) days within a nine (9) week period for schools on a block schedule, will not receive a passing grade for the semester. Absences not counted in the nine (9) days/four (4) days attendance policy are: A. court dates B. religious holidays C. illness with medical documentation D. chronic and extended illness COUNTDOWN TO GRADUATION

  6.  ATTENDANCE MAKE UP POSSIBILITIES  FULL DAY attendance on May 23 only  SATURDAY SCHOOLS – 2 hours each Saturday  May 4 and May 18 HOUR FOR HOUR MAKE-UP TIME COUNTDOWN TO GRADUATION

  7.  Each senior will receive 4 tickets the week of graduation. 2 blue, 2 red. Inclement weather – Blue ONLY  Doors will open for ticketed guests at 5:30.  Guests without a ticket may enter at 6:10.  We have never had a problem accommodating those without a ticket – even if it’s SRO.  The auditorium will be open to view in comfort and air conditioning! TICKETS

  8. • Rehearsal –Wednesday, May 22 Report to the commons at 3:30 GRADUATION PRACTICE

  9.  Thursday Evening – May 23, 2019 Report to the Gymnasium No earlier than 5:30 PM No later than 6:00 PM GRADUATION

  10.  Dress for success – like if you were going to a job interview  You have to look sharp!  Your dress needs to reflect your success – You are a high school graduate! Dress with pride!! HOW DO I DRESS FOR MY GRADUATION CEREMONY?

  24.  Your graduation gown must be over your arm or on a hanger so that… You can show us how nice you are dressed. ENTERING THE GYMNASIUM

  29. Once you enter the Gymnasium, you must take your seat ENTERING THE GYMNASIUM

  31. Class of 2019 This is your night – the last time that you will all be together in the same place at the same time  Be Safe  Show Class  Show Dignity and Pride A MINUTEMEN NIGHT TO REMEMBER

  32.  Envelopes containing your Diploma will be distributed in the media center for 30 minutes past the ceremony. If you do not pick up the diploma Friday evening, you may pick it up from the front office beginning on Monday.  Official transcripts will be ready approximately one month after graduation. Guidance will be seeking your information as to where you want official transcripts sent. (See handout) AFTER THE CEREMONY

  33.  Lights will remain on for 45 MINUTES following the ceremony for pictures. AFTER THE CEREMONY

  34.  DONATE YOUR GOWN (CAP, TOO) Many of our students can’t afford the cost to participate in graduation ceremonies. We use many donated gowns throughout each year to support those students who are in need. If you don’t plan to use yours again, we would be happy to take your donation! Just leave it with us before you leave on graduation night! AFTER THE CEREMONY

  35. The graduation ceremony is held in the Commons area. Graduates cross over the Concord Bridge, from the past (represented by the statue to the left of the bridge) into the future (represented by the rocket to the right of the bridge), after their names are read by the “Town Criers.” Graduates will stop briefly at the foot of the bridge for an official graduation photograph by Gradimages. Go to www.gradimages.com to preregister your email so you can receive photo proofs within 48 hours. GRADUATION PHOTOGRAPHY
