RECENT UPDATES TO THE NDADD POLICIES AND PROCEDURES MANUAL

Changes to Membership, Voting Privileges, and Meetings

• Virtual meeting attendance counts as actual meeting attendance.
• General board meetings will all be conducted remotely, with no on-site meetings.
• Members with 0-4 years of service need to attend three consecutive meetings to earn voting

privileges; members with 5 or more years of service need to attend two consecutive meetings to earn voting privileges. Changes to Registration and Deadlines

• There must be a minimum of three teams registered to hold a category of competition. If a

category drops below three teams after December 1, or after October 15 for Novelty, the category will run with the remaining teams registered.

Changes to State Competition Schedule

• The 2019 NDADD State Competition schedule will start earlier on Friday, with Kick and Pom
• n Friday, and Middle School, Hip Hop, and Jazz on Saturday.

Changes to Small and Large Varsity Breakdown

• There must be six or more teams in both small and large varsity in order to break a

category.

• Teams with 11 or more dancers on the floor in any one category will compete in Large

Varsity in all categories that are split between Small and Large Varsity.

Changes to Fall Convention attendance

• Taking effect in the 2019-2020 season, the Fall Convention be run as a mandatory rules
• clinic. A team must send a coach or adult representative to maintain NDADD membership
