Alfred Child & Youth Mental Health Service

Vision: Alfred CYMHS to lead the development of a system of care (0-25) that is co-ordinated, integrated, responsive and informed by best practice.

  • Victorian context is one of population based funding and services are

responsible for a particular catchment area.

  • System of devolved governance which encourages innovation but also

means different structures / system operations across Melbourne.

  • Has lead to different services being provided depending on where you live.
