UEC Meet & Greet

  • Please pick up your T-shirt if you haven’t already from Kim
  • I have asked Reidar to stop by and take a few pictures
  • Event will be in Atrium at 3:30 pm. Cafeteria/Clorica are all informed. Tables

are setup (near 1 WEST, Vending machine side)

  • We can start putting stuff (raffle, suggestion box etc.) on tables as we find

time.

  • We should see how we can move the Cafeteria tables to allow for more

movement.

  • Food: Wine+Cheese (90 people); additional snacks from Costco+ soft drinks

Thanks to all UEC/FSPA and Kim for working on this!

Meeting format

  • In order to keep the meeting on time and be efficient/productive, here

is the format I would like to follow from today:

  • Speakers present their full talk without interruptions
  • All questions will be taken at the end of the talk in the 5 minute time

slot (except for the HR talk today that has 10 min. talk time and 15

  • min. discussion time)
  • As always, please raise your hands if you have questions/comments
  • I encourage all of you to write your questions down and follow up

with presenters as needed if we cannot address them today

  • Most work should happen outside the UEC meeting and most

discussions at the relevant sub-committee meetings
