MISSION

To be a self-sustaining and effective regulator for the public health workforce.

UKPHR will be opening a NEW portfolio assessment route in September 2018:

Specialist Registration by Portfolio

This new route will be:

  • Closer to the PH Specialty Training

Programme 2015 Curriculum

  • Closer to the doctors’ CESR route

 Every applicant must satisfy the 2015

Training Programme curriculum knowledge requirements.

 This can be by passing the Part A exams

OR assessment of evidence.

 The SHOW HOWS will match to the 2015

Curriculum as well.

 UKPHR’s Board envisages a two-stage

application process.

 Evidence will be subject to a currency rule

(overall, 50 per cent within 5 years).

 There is an ambition to introduce an

E-portfolio.

 Other issues have been delegated to an

implementation group to decide.
