UKPHR will be opening a NEW portfolio assessment route in September 2018:
Specialist Registration by Portfolio
This new route will be:
- Closer to the PH Specialty Training
Programme 2015 Curriculum
- Closer to the doctors’ CESR route

Every applicant must satisfy the 2015
Training Programme curriculum knowledge requirements.
This can be by passing the Part A exams
OR assessment of evidence.
The SHOW HOWS will match to the 2015
Curriculum as well.

UKPHR’s Board envisages a two-stage
application process.
Evidence will be subject to a currency rule
(overall, 50 per cent within 5 years).
There is an ambition to introduce an
E-portfolio.
Other issues have been delegated to an
implementation group to decide.
