• Unique lifestyles and community needs- 67 HOA’s
• Large area currently remains unincorporated

Proposal

• San Tan Advisory committee

 Give designation to 6 distinct geographical areas  Select 2 representatives from each location for committee  Committee will provide input on issues facing District, make recommendations, and offer perspective

Current State

• Feedback received from constituents through many channels
• Difficult to consolidate and track trends- sometimes lost or left

undone do to follow-up. Proposal

• Create citizen online feedback repository
• Position new online tool as way to submit feedback
• Link form to Sharepoint for efficient reporting
• We are in the “customer service” business… WE WORK FOR THE

Current State

• Confusion with respect to current incorporation legislation and

the creation of County Islands. Proposal

• County needs to work with State Legislators to clarify legislation

Commercial Impact Fees

Current State

• We have learned from Plan San Tan Study that we currently lose
• ver $900 million in trade leakage each year
• High commercial impact fees are discouraging businesses from

coming to San Tan Valley. Proposal

• The County work to address this issue and perform analysis to

see if fees can be reduced and not wait until 2019.
