Engineer Exploration Model and Upside

  • The Engineer Mine Property has the earmarks of a large epithermal

gold system with a number of characteristics (gold and roscoelite) similar to world-class, alkalic epithermal gold systems such as the Porgera, Cripple Creek and Emperor gold deposits.

  • The Engineer Mine Property hosts a robust and open mineralizing
  • system. High-grade gold has been confirmed 21 metres below the

deepest mine level (8 level) on the Double Decker Vein and between 5 and 7 Levels on the Engineer Vein by BCGold drilling, mine de- watering and sampling .

  • The Engineer and adjoining Blind Creek and Gold Hill Properties
  • ccupy the heart of the Engineer Mine mineralizing system and offer

excellent bulk-tonnage gold potential, hosting >8 km of 2nd order shear structures with drill intercepts of hydrothermal breccias grading up to 0.45 g/t Au over 34 metres.

  • Exploration results indicates excellent upside to resource expansion

and gold grade increase. The company is evaluating the premise of partially funding exploration through continued bulk sampling and on- site milling of high-grade material from Engineer Vein.

concentrate (containing 68 oz gold) which was monetized for US$107,000 (Net).

  • 5th Level bulk sampling in 2011 defined the tops of 2 high-grade gold

shoots in Engineer Vein, estimated to contain up to 17,000 oz. gold grading between 30 – 60 g/t gold.

  • Successfully dewatered 6 and 7 Levels of underground workings in

2012, confirming gold grade and depth extent of 3 high-grade gold shoots on Engineer Vein.

  • 2012 test MMI soil surveys along mineralized segments of the 8km+

Engineer Mine Property – Shear Zones, Veins, & Underground Development (Level 5)

  • 5,500 m of underground

development on 8 levels.

  • 5th Level portal with rail.
  • 2 styles of epithermal gold

mineralization.

  • Narrow high grade veins (0.3

– 3.0 m, >35 g/t Au).

  • Broad, low grade shear

structures with hydrothermal breccias (0.45 g/t over 35 m).

  • Unexplored below 200 m from

surface.

  • BCGold conducted 1,850 m

drill program in 2008 (Shear Zone A), 1,100 m UG drill programs in 2010 (Engineer & Double Decker Veins) & mined and milled 6 bulk samples (246.1 tonnes) as part of a 2011, $1.1 million exploration program.

slide-17
SLIDE 17

17

High-Grade Gold Exploration Upside and Near-Term Production Potential

  • High-grade gold has been confirmed to extend laterally along veins

for >1km and from surface to at least 21 metres below deepest mine level (8 level), 180 metres below surface, by BCGold Corp. drilling in 2010, trenching and bulk sampling in 2011 and mine- dewatering and sampling in 2012.

  • High-grade mineral resource (tonnes and grade) is understated,

primarily due to a high gold “Nugget Effect”, with excellent upside

  • potential. Current resource is confined to remnant portions of 2

veins out of 25 known veins on the property.

  • 2011 bulk sampling program defined 2 accessible high-grade gold

shoots on Engineer Vein between 5 and 7 Levels, estimated to grade between 30-60 g/t gold and containing up to 17,000 oz gold.

  • Production drifts in place for Engineer Vein between 5-8 Levels

and Double Decker Vein on 5 and 8 Levels.

  • Production drifts in place on 5 Level for Boulder, Governor, Shaft

and Jersey Lilly Veins.

slide-18
SLIDE 18

18

Near-Term Production Potential

  • Fully permitted, operational 30 tpd gravity separation mill on site.

2011 metallurgical results provide basis for mill optimization and increase in gold recoveries.

  • De-watered 6 and 7 Levels in 2012. Air and water services

restored, Engineer Vein mapped and panel sampled; 3 gold shoots confirmed to 7 Level.

  • BCGold plans to mine and mill high-grade bulk-samples at

Engineer Mine in 2013, generating revenue while advancing and exploring the property.

  • Company is actively seeking a project partner to finance mine and

mill development to mine and mill up to 8,000 tonnes of bulk sample material and produce up to 8,000 oz of gold by 2014.

  • Net revenue to be applied to future exploration and development of

a sustainable 7,500 – 10,000 oz  year mining operation.

26

2011 Exploration Program & Results

  • Six bulk samples totalling 246.1 tonnes returned an average mining

grade of 16.9 g/t Au, including one 68.9 tonne bulk sample returning 44.6 g/t Au.

  • Preliminary test milling averaged 51.3% gold recovery from the

gravity recovery circuit. Recoveries >71% indicated by Gekko metallurgical studies.

  • Bulk samples consistently returned much higher gold grades

(average of 861% increase) than indicated by smaller volume channel samples collected in previous programs.

  • Bulk sample results clearly indicate that test mining and test milling

is the only reliable method to define “ore-grade” gold mineralization at Engineer Mine.

  • Bulk sample results indicate conventional sampling techniques can

grossly underestimate gold grades and the current resource estimate is likely conservative and open to significant expansion.

slide-27
SLIDE 27

27

2011 Exploration Program & Results

  • Completed a 600 line km SkyTEM deep penetrating Time-Domain

Electromagnetic / Magnetic airborne survey over the Engineer and Gold Hill properties. Numerous exploration targets defined for follow-up.

  • > 600 metres of trench excavation completed on the Boulder, Shaft,

Double Decker and Shear “B” zones, all of which were either exposed or partially developed 120 metres vertically below on 5 Level in the 1920’s. The exposed veins have been geologically mapped and channel sampled.

  • Gekko Systems bench-scale gravity and leach amenability tests on

mill feed and table concentrate validated BCGold’s bulk sampling results, returning a 54.9 g/t Au and 40.6 g/t Ag ROM head grade and gold and silver recoveries up to 71.4% and 67.8%, respectively, using only gravity concentration methods.

  • Gold and silver recoveries from concentrate of up to 98% and 90%,

respectively, by intensive leaching after 24 hours.

2012 Exploration Program & Results

In 2012 BCGold conducted a $550,000 exploration program at the Engineer Mine and Gold Hill Properties. Work included:

  • Geological mapping, prospecting and test MMI soil surveys
  • ver the Shear A and B bulk tonnage gold exploration targets.

MMI confirmed as an effective means to delineate bulk- tonnage gold drill targets within shear zones.

  • Dewatered 6 and 7 Levels of the underground mine workings

to access the down-plunge extension of the high-grade 505-3 and the 505-5 Shoots.

  • Installed air and water services to Levels 6 and 7, geological

mapping and panel sampling completed.

  • Confirmed the presence of 3 high-grade gold shoots between

5 and 7 Levels.

  • Underground hoist and service installation, mill upgrade and

bulk sample mining and milling of 505-3 & 505-5 exploration targets will commence in 2013 if a concentrate forward sale agreement is secured.

2012 MMI Test Soil Surveys and Results

  • Historic (1980’s) conventional soil

sampling (upper B Horizon) failed to identify shear zones and alteration halos.

  • In 2012 test MMI lines were completed
  • ver known mineralized segments of the

Shear “A”, Shear “B”, Engineer Vein, Hub “A” and Hub “B” structures.

  • Results showed that MMI positively

identified discrete, moderate to strong, coincidental Au, Ag, As, Sb and Mo anomalies.

  • New zones identified:

– Hub “B” – Shear “B” 2 km north of Hub “B” – Happy Sullivan

  • MMI appears to be a proven means to

identify bulk tonnage gold drill targets in shear zone structures!

2014 Engineer Mine Exploration Plans

  • Continue efforts to secure a joint venture partner to advance

exploration and development of Engineer Mine Property.

  • Refine economic model for small-scale production.
  • Broaden MMI soil surveys along remaining segments of the 8km+

Shear Zone ‘A’,‘B’ and Happy Sullivan bulk tonnage gold structures to define drill targets.

  • Conduct I.P. surveys over MMI gold anomalies.
  • Conduct surface diamond drill program targeting near-mine

magnetic high/ resistivity high / Au/As MMI anomaly, believed to represent shallow intrusive source to gold mineralization.

  • Trenching on the Happy Sullivan vein system.
  • Continue efforts to option all other exploration properties to

suitable exploration partners and to establish an exploration alliance with a major company to explore for copper-gold porphyry systems in BC and Yukon.

Engineer Mine Property Summary

  • BCGold’s Engineer Mine project has the earmarks of a large

epithermal gold system with a number of characteristics (gold and roscoelite) similar to world-class, alkalic epithermal gold systems such as the Porgera, Cripple Creek and Emperor gold deposits.

  • The Engineer Mine Property hosts a large, poorly explored, robust

and open mineralizing system. High-grade gold has been confirmed 21 metres below deepest mine level (8 level) on the Double Decker Vein and on 7 level on the Engineer Vein by drilling and sampling in 2010 and 2012.

  • BCGold’s property covers the entire Engineer Mine mineralizing

system, and offers excellent, demonstrable bulk-tonnage gold potential, hosting >8 km of untested 2nd order shear structures with near-surface drill intercepts up to 0.45 g/t Au over 34 metres.

  • 2011 bulk sampling results indicates excellent upside to high-grade

resource expansion and gold grade increase. The company believes a continued, larger-scale bulk sampling and on-site milling program can provide the necessary capital to fund exploration and development.
