❖ One of nineteen different associations included in Chamber of Commerce ❖ Includes producers in the area of textile, garments, leather and footwear ❖ Around two thousand companies are active in this industry ❖ All these companies are members of our association ❖ Employees: 48.000 are in the production of textile and garments and 14.000 are in the production of leather and footwear

The Association includes five subgroups which produce different collections

❖ Subgroup for textile (main products: men’s and women’s collection’s, sportswear, underwear, jeans, knitted garments, handmade, home textiles) ❖ Subgroup of kids manufacturers (main products: children’s collections and baby equipment) ❖ Subgroup of socks manufacturers (main products: socks) ❖ Subgroup of producers of leather (main products: footwear, bags, leather accessories) ❖ Subgroup of workwear manufacturers (main products: protective and workwear, military and police equipment, modern uniforms)

Textile industry

❖ Long tradition in providing services to global industry leaders. The strong tradition of textile manufacturing and exports in Serbia contribute to a steady increase of the export volume in this sector. ❖ As a result, in 2017 total exports of textile industry exceeded 895,8 mil dollars – 15 % higher then in 2016! ❖ In 2018 total exports of textile industry exceeded 1 billion dollars!
