The Arizona Board of Regents is committed to:

  • Ensuring access for qualified residents of Arizona to

undergraduate and graduate instruction;

  • Promoting the discovery, application and dissemination of new

knowledge;

  • Extending the benefits of university activities to Arizona’s

citizens outside the university, and

  • Maximizing the benefits derived from the state’s investment in

education.

ONE OPTION TOWARD ACCESSIBILITY AND AFFORDABILITY

A partnership of students, community colleges, and universities HIGH NEED DEGREES (To be identified by ABOR) Major A Major B Major C Major D Major E (Ex: Teacher) Prerequisite for participating high school seniors—as appropriate to the major, high school students will take six hours of math, science, and/or English in their senior year for college credit. Year 1 Student attends Community College (CC) assigned by ABOR and pays CC tuition Year 2 Student attends CC assigned by ABOR and pays CC tuition Year 3 Student attends CC and pays CC tuition. Universities responsible for the curriculum. CC provides instruction, as approved by the universities. If not, CC will pay the universities to provide the instruction. Year 4 Student attends the university, pays university tuition, and graduates with university B.S. or B.A.
