  • The Downtown Neighborhood Commission, now

the West End Commission, adopted architectural guidelines for new commercial development on West End.

  • Compliance with the guidelines was voluntary

unless a Development Agreement was negotiated.

  • City Council approved Architectural and Design

Guidelines for all commercial development as an appendix to VISTA 2020.

  • Incorporated the west end guidelines.
