What does Title I mean?

  • BCMS participates in the Title I, Part A, Section 1116 of the

Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) School-wide program.

  • Under the program, you have the Parent’s Right to Know the

certification status of our teachers. All teachers teaching a core academic class are professionally qualified.

  • We are provided federal funding to ensure all students have the
  • pportunity and innovative resources, to meet or exceed state,

local, and national assessment expectations.

  • Title I funding impacts each and every student at BCMS by

reducing class size and funding professional development.
