What does Title I mean?

BCMS participates in the Title I, Part A, Section 1116 of the

Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) School-wide program.

Under the program, you have the Parent’s Right to Know the

certification status of our teachers. All teachers teaching a core academic class are professionally qualified.

We are provided federal funding to ensure all students have the
pportunity and innovative resources, to meet or exceed state,

local, and national assessment expectations.

Title I funding impacts each and every student at BCMS by

reducing class size and funding professional development.
