LANXESS CENTRAL PLANT LANXESS WESTERN PLANT LANXESS SOUTHERN PLANT SOUTH ARKANSAS: LANXESS operations in southern

Arkansas cover 150,000 acres, 10,000 brine leases and 250 miles

  • f pipelines. LANXESS extracts

brine from their wells located throughout the area, and the brine is transported through a network of pipelines to to three plants where the brine is processed for bromine recovery with the tail brine then re- injected to the aquifer. The three bromine plants currently employ approx. 500 people, have been in production for greater than 5 decades, and process roughly 5.25 billion gallons of brine annually.
