RECOMMENDED WAY FORWARD Continue with training needs collection and analysis in 2016 (can be done through workshops in the five regions ) Start the process of designation of Centres of Excellence after having trained trainers from different regions to build AATO training inspectors capacity and conduct assessments. Thereafter , begin the process of harmonisation and standardisation to ensure all programmes meet minimum standards Advise the industry on available training and expertise, together with ICAO , as recommended by ICAO/IATA Monitor Training needs Analysis and conduct other industry required research .
