- AFID Facility Grants: traditional economic development incentive grant program available
to a company that is creating new jobs, capital investment AND purchase of Virginia- grown products
REQUIREMENTS: (1) Must add value to ag/forestry products (2) Minimum 30% ag/forestry products must be sourced from Virginia (3) Requires dollar-for-dollar local match
- AFID Planning Grants: Grant program designed to assist local governments to better
integrate agriculture and forestry into economic development efforts
REQUIREMENTS: (1) Must involve ag/forestry board, committee or working group (2) Requires dollar-for-dollar local match
