Total DPN requested Aegide International’s expertise to implement a large Local Content

• Initiative. The principal aim was to nationalize all HSE Supervisory positions within Total-

Gabon’s Projects division. Our team selected, recruited, coached and then supervised over 80 Gabonese HSE Supervisors, coordinating a team of up to 36 people between 2012 and 2016

HSE MANAGEMENT

Client: Colas GAC Location: Guinea-Conakry Date : 2016 to present

PROJECT

Colas requested Aegide International’s assistance in order to meet the tender requirements for a large EPC (Fluor) looking to contract a civil engineering and construction company for a large bauxite mine in Guinea-Conakry. The project scope was unusually large for Colas as it covered many construction activities that were not core (road construction). We provided our support to Colas in the tendering phase of the project from Côte d’Ivoire and then managed and supervised all HSE related matters for the duration of the operations in Guinea, which covered the construction of roads, bridges, a dam, a railway track and a car dumper.

Case Study – Skills & Competency Management

PROJECT

As part of its new Global Road Safety Strategy, LafargeHolcim requested Aegide International’s assistance in the development and implementation of a comprehensive and standardised Train the Trainer program in Defensive Driving for Heavy Vehicles. Aegide’s defensive driving teams created and adapted its Train the Trainer program to the specificities of the cement industry and the varied cultural contexts in which LafargeHolcim operates. The training program was deployed in over 15 countries in the Middle East, Africa and Asia and has certified close to 50 trainers, who have in turn certified thousands of drivers. Aegide International also developed driver assessment and profiling tools, training provider audits and digital training solutions

Following a large scale expansion program, BOURBON requested that Aegide International design and the carry out HSE training for its staff, including «Advanced Risk Assessment» training for all the Pilots, Captains and Chief engineers of BOURBON group and its subsidiaries.
