  • ABSS provides transportation for all Early College students to and from
  • campus. When we are the only school in session (the beginning of the school

year) our students are picked up at their stop and brought directly to ACC. When all schools are in session, students ride the bus to their attendance zone

  • school. At their home school students board the bus to CTEC. At CTEC

students take the bus to ACC. Students can also take the bus from their attendance zone school or CTEC.

  • Students are provided transportation in the afternoons. We dismiss at 3:40.

Some buses may arrive at 4:30. @ABECatACC

Differences Between IB and AP

  • The educational objectives differ: AP courses tend to focus intensively
  • n a particular subject, while IB courses take a more holistic approach.
  • IB students can earn an IB diploma: High schoolers who have

embraced IB's global educational philosophy can elect to earn an IB diploma, which is recognized by colleges around the world.

  • Students can earn college credit with either: Both IB and AP classes

culminate in an exam, and depending on the score, students may be able to earn college credit.
