  18. Committees ● Time commitment and responsibilities of committee members are generally less than board members ● Committee leaders often schedule meetings on an as-needed basis ● Committee members are not required to attend board meetings

  19. Marketing/Growth Committee ● Focuses on the branding and promotion of the MWSL in order to provide a meaningful experience for both current and new members. ● Members recently refreshed the MWSL brand with a new logo, swag, messaging, and other promotional items in late 2018. ● Contact committee lead Kim Edelman – kimedelman68@gmail.com for more info.

May 1 st for D2, D3, D4 and Rec ○ May 15 th for D1 ○ ● Failure to pay team fees charged by the league and performance bond by deadline will result in a weekly late fee. ● If payment is not received by first game, the team will be removed from the schedule. Any games that take place during that time will be considered a forfeit in the standings.

  26. Summer Player Registration Online Player Registration – Deadline: June 30th ● Once the team is verified by the MWSL, managers are responsible for sending player registration invites to their players via TeamConnect. ● Each player must register under a team. You cannot register under a secondary team or as a “free agent.” ● Players must pay the $26 player fee during registration and upload an acceptable photo for their player pass. ● Players will not be permitted to play without registering and providing a photo for their electronic player pass. NO EXCEPTIONS.

  27. Looking for Players, Looking for a Team? ● The MWSL Facebook page and Facebook group are great places to find players for your team, or find a team looking for players. ● The board can try and help reach out to connect players and teams, but that is not always a guarantee. ● https://www.facebook.com/groups/100700165326/

  28. Fees and Fines ● Team Registration Fee: $300 ● Player Registration Fee: $26 ● Performance Bond: $300 ○ Check with MWSL Treasurer to see if you’ve had money carry over from last summer ● Fines: ○ Refer to the updated Fees and Fines document on our website ○ Fines are deducted from your performance bond. No guarantees.
