Introduction § What is PACE-EH? v A methodology consisting of tasks to engage the public’s involvement, collect necessary and relevant information pertaining to community environmental health status, rank issues and set local priorities for action § How is the methodology applied? v 13 Tasks § Does it work? v Results have been proven. Fellsmere PACE-EH Project Over $4 Million Yield Creation of Residential Façade Improvement Grant Program • CDBG Paving and Drainage project ($1M) • FRDAP Award for Grant Park ($137,000 for ADA restroom • and other amenities) Demolished eight abandoned homes • Repaired over ten septic systems and rehabilitated homes • Installed walkways around perimeter of community park • Expansion of Go-Line Bus Route due to paving • Initiation of Community Gardening Project • Annexed adjacent Lincoln Park Subdivision • Built Two Homes in One Day! •
