Judy Ganzert International President, 2019-2021 Slide 1 – Title Slide Professionally, I am a teacher of history. Personally, I am a lover of history. As your new President of Alpha Delta Kappa, I am an advocate for using history to learn the lessons for the future … the future of Alpha Delta Kappa. Our first lessons come from our Founders, Agnes, Marie, Hattie, and Marion. Together, they are the (Click – slide 2) Golden HEART of Alpha Delta Kappa. It is from their hearts that we have reached more than 200,000 women in the past 72 years. It is from their hearts that we continue to share Alpha Delta Kappa with educators of excellence and work to sustain our organization for generations to come. When I think of Alpha Delta Kappa, I automatically think of (Click - slide 3) PURPLE The color of our flower, the violet, and the color for which we all seem to gravitate when we choose to decorate … or dress for an Alpha Delta Kappa function. And then I think of (Click - slide 4) green … the last of our colors. Our canvas is beginning to be transformed. As I ponder what will come next for Alpha Delta Kappa, I am reminded of a poem my husband shared with me as we hit a rough patch before we married.
