The International Exhibition for Mining and Exploration, Mineral & Coal Processing and Metallurgical Technologies is annually held at the end of June in Karaganda City since 2006. The exhibition is held with support of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Committee for Geology and Subsoil Use of MIID RK, Akimat of the Karaganda Region, JSC National Mining Company Tau-Ken Samruk, JSC “Arcelor Mittal Temirtau”, LLP “Kazakhmys Corporation”

STAGES OF DEVELOPMENT (1995-2019)

1995

1-st exhibition MinTech, Almaty. 2-nd edition The exhibition-name is changed into "MinTek Kazakhstan” and the new venue now is Karaganda City.During the exhibition the scientific and practical conference «Deposits conservation is the important factor for stable development of the region» was held. 3-rd edition Exhibitors visited “Kazakhstanskaya and “Abayskaya” mines of JSC “Mittal Steel Temirtau”. From September, 6, 2007 JSC “Mittal Steel Temirtau” was registered as JSC “Arcelor Mittal Temirtau”.

2006 2007

6-th exhibition The exhibition is held within the framework of celebration of the 50 anniversary of the Kazakhstan Magnitka (the first smelting of the first Kazakhstan iron). 5-th anniversary exhibition The exhibition name is changed into "Mining Week Kazakhstan" with MINTEK + METALTEK. Official partner of the exhibition becomes the Republican Association of Mining and Metallurgical Enterprises.

4-th exhibition We started to let our statistical data control by the Russian official auditor of exhibition statistics “RussCom IT Systems” Ltd. Two expositions:

• «Mining Week Kazakhstan’2012», Karaganda.
• International mining and metallurgical

conference “The 50th anniversary of the Kazakhstan Magnitka” and exhibition of achievements of the native industry “Development of mining, metallurgical and coal branches”, Temirtau. 7-th exhibition For the first time the exhibition is held under the patronage of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Control of statistical data by the Russian official auditor.General media partner of the exhibition becomes the international specialized scientific and technical journal “GORNAYA PROMYSHLENNOST” (“MINING INDUSTRY”), Moscow.Within the framework of «Mining Week Kazakhstan’2013», the 9 x 12 photo contest is held for the first time.The annual International Exhibition for Mining and Exploration, Mineral & Coal Processing and Metallurgical Technologies “Mining Week Kazakhstan” was honored with the “UFI Approved Event” award. 9-th exhibition

11-th exhibition Control of statistical data by official auditor. D u r i n g t h e e x h i b i t i o n t h e s e m i n a r «Development prospects of Polish - Kazakhstan cooperation in mining industry» was held.

2015

12-th edition The share of professionals among exhibition visitors was estimated as 100%.The key event of the business program was the Round-Table “Draft Code “On Subsurface and Subsurface Use” of the Association of Mining and Metallurgical Enterprises (AMME). Official mission of 10 Polish companies was represented. The Hotel Complex Cosmonaut becomes hotel-partner of t h e e x h i b i t i o n « M i n i n g W e e k Kazakhstan».

2016

13-th edition Control of statistical data by official auditor.Within the framework of exposition of Polish Agency for Enterprise Development (PARP) were presented modern coal technologies (blue coal), issues according recovery of industrial zones as well as forest planting which also were represented at Astana EXPO 2017 International specialized exhibition.

2017

14-th edition Due to holding of the World Mining Congress (June 19-21, 2018, Astana) the exhibition is held in April.

2018

15-th anniversary exhibition Control of statistical data by official auditor.The key event of the business program was the presentation “The Path from Junior to the Champion” of JSC National Mining Company “Tau-Ken Samruk”.
