OBJ ECTIVES

§

With our experience in commercial, education, healthcare and housing projects we will prepare a detailed earthworks design based on the specific site conditions .

§

Our bulk earthworks design philosophy will optimise the use of material on site within the proposed site extents.

§

The aim to re-use most, if not all material excavated on site as fill material elsewhere on site, saving costs and construction time.

§

The minimum fill material will be imported to the site, depending on the suitability of the onsite material.

§

Design of bulk services (water & sewer reticulation) and stormwater management (surface, underground reticulation, storm water attenuation) meets Local Authority by-laws and regulations.

§

Our main objective will be to deliver a cost effective environmentally sustainable design.

OBJ ECTIVES

§ The structural engineering design will be functional, cost effective,

easy to construct and sustainable while conforming to all the relevant design standards.

§ The structural system will be designed to ensure that the

architectural features and concepts are further enhanced by making use of innovative design ideas, techniques and an understanding of green building principles.

§ Where desired by the client, special consideration will be given to

local construction techniques and labour intensive construction in the choice of materials.

§ All structural engineering draughting work is done in latest version of

REVIT (Autodesk software). 3D models will be created that can be presented to the client to better understand the structure.

§ These models will be shared with the architect and services

engineers for coordination purposes. The BIM 360 platform is utilised in real-time, from design through construction, to support informed decision-making.

Hannes is the founder of STRUXIT Projects and currently acts as one of the Directors. From 2016 to 2019 he was involved in the successful delivery of projects with a combined construction value of R 2.7 Billion. These projects ranged from healthcare to residential, commercial, hotel & leisure, industrial and retail. He has vast experience in the design and detailing of structural and civil engineering elements in all the above-mentioned sectors using a variety of different materials and solutions. Furthermore, he managed most of these projects as well as prepared design and planning schemes for forthcoming projects.
