  13. A THOUSAND YEARS LIKE A DAY Psa salm lm 90:4 :4 For r a th thousand years in in th thy sig sight are but as s yesterday when it it is is past, and as as a watch in in the nig ight. (D (DISC ISCLAIMER- WE DO NOT T PROMOTE TH THE TALM LMUD.) The Talmud suggests that after six “days”, i.e., 6,000 “years” of creation, there will be a day of rest — the Shabbat — where creation ceases and the world as we know it ceases to exist. “ Rav Kattina said: ‘ Six th thousand years shall th the world exist, and one [thousand], it shall be desolate’” (Sanhedrin 97a). The Gemara divides these 6,000 years into three district periods. “The Tanna devei Eliyahu teaches: Six ix th thousand years is is th this world: Two th thousand desolation, tw two th thousand Torah, and tw two th thousand years th the days of f th the Mashiach ”

  14. A THOUSAND YEARS LIKE A DAY 2,000 years from Adam to Abraham (Age of Chaos/Desolation), 2,000 years from Abraham to Jesus (Age of the Torah), and 2,000 years from Jesus’ First Coming to His Second Coming (Age of the Messiah).

  15. A THOUSAND YEARS LIKE A DAY God created the heavens and the earth in six days, and on the seventh day He rested (Exodus 20:11). Mount Sinai and the Ten Commandments (Exodus 24:12-16) The destruction of Jericho (Joshua 6:13-15, Hebrews 11:30) The Mount of Transfiguration (Matthew 17:1 After six days …). Slaves served for six years and were freed in the seventh year (Exodus 21:2). Fields were to be worked for six years and then rested in the seventh year (Exodus 23:10-11). People were to work six days and then rest on the seventh day following the Sabbath commandment (Leviticus 23:3).

  16. A THOUSAND YEARS LIKE A DAY 2 Peter 3:8 :8-10 10 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is is wit ith the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. . The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all ll should come to repentance. . But the day of f the Lord wil ill come as a thief in in the nig ight; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth als lso and the works that are therein shall be burned up. .

  17. A THOUSAND YEARS LIKE A DAY 2 Peter 3:1 :11-14 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of f persons ought ye to be in in all ll holy conversation and godliness, Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to his promise, lo look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be dil iligent that ye may be found of f him im in in peace, wit ithout spot, and bla lameless.

  18. A THOUSAND YEARS LIKE A DAY Revelation 20:4-5 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. Revelation 20:5-6 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with 1 st Resurrection w/Jesus him a thousand years. Hos osea 6:2 :2 Aft fter r tw two o da days will ill he he reviv ive us: us: in in the the thi third da day he he will ill rais aise us us up, up, an and we e sha shall ll li live in in his his si sight.

  19. RESURRECTIONS 1 Corinthians 15:21-26 For since by man came death, by man came also th the resurrection of f th the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. But every man in his own order: Christ th the fi firstfruits; aft fterw rward th they th that are Christ's at t his is coming. Then cometh th the end, when he shall have delivered up th the kin ingdom to God, even th the Father; when he shall have put t down all ru rule and all auth thority and power. For he must reign, ti till he hath put t all enemies under his is feet. The la last enemy th that shall be destroyed is is death.
