Through it, we review the most relevant events for Tvitec in 2018. Our actjvity has been intense and this is refmected in a new historic increase of the company’s turnover, which has risen to 123.5 million euros, with an Ebitda of 24%. Our main factory has met its planned targets. That is to say, it contjnued to materialize and develop the investments to reach the highest levels of speed and quality demanded by the markets, towards which our high-performance glass products are directed. We can say that we have progressed in this regard thanks to the investment efgort made. We have built a very solid foundatjon to be able to guarantee that, within 2019, a very clear progress will be reported in our quality and service levels. Without a doubt, we will celebrate with all of you the results of those investments executed in 2018. Our commitment to innovatjon and research has also crystallized with the emergence of a product that was successfully launched in the exhibitjon

f Veteco 2018 held in Madrid. It is called ROCALUX and it is aimed at the

facade and interior market. At the exhibitjon, we notjced that this product aroused exceptjonal interest among the visitors of our stand. Rocalux is a digital screen-printjng that, placed on the front of a previously treated glass, gives the same sensatjons to the eye and the touch as any natural stone. It is a solutjon that brings all the advantages of architectural glass; a versatjle, clean and light product ... This way the problems of using natural stone — in terms of price, treatment, weight and placement system — are solved. And what is even more relevant, from the environmental point of view, Rocalux is a recyclable product. Ultjmately, I am pleased to inform our group of clients that, thanks to our fjnancial capacity, we have a new curved glass factory that was completed in May of this year. Gone are the 16 months of intensive work and €20 million investment to be able to say that our curved glass plant is already in operatjon. These achievements, along with the training of our human and professional team, will keep Tvitec at the internatjonal forefront of the comprehensive transformatjon of high-performance glass in the building of the present and the future.

It is a simple glass pane subjected to a process

f heat, tempered or

quenched + HST, which increases its thermal and mechanical resistance. Tempered glass will transform into a product that can be considered as safety glass, since in case of breakage, its fragments will be harmless. As for the dimensions, Tvitec could produce this type of glass in a thickness

f between 4 and 19 mm,

with a length of up to 12 meters. In addition, these products have the highest rating of EU 1 (C) 1 according to EN 12600 standard “Glass in building - Pendulum test - Impact test method and classification for flat glass.”

All the architectural glass products manufactured by Tvitec are special. They are glazing solutions which adjust exclusively to each project. Due to their features, shape, size and aesthetics. Safety glass made up of two

r more pieces of glass joined

by a sheet or intermediate

layer. Laminated glass could

be manufactured with annealed basic panels or “Duritec” to get the required safety and mechanical

characteristics. In case of

breakage of one or several panes, fragments will remain attached to the intermediate

layer. In addition, this solution

reduces ultraviolet rays and can incorporate color sheets to achieve a specifjc aesthetic result.

Tvitec’s technological equipment allows the manufacture of large formats to contribute to the execution of projects

f continuous facades,

without divisions of metallic carpentry and large panoramas, while adapting to the new architectural trends and iconic design. Tvitec is able to manufacture up to 12 meters for almost any kind of process. Both in the case of laminated and tempered glass as well as double and triple glazing and screen printing glass. In addition, Tvitec provides the necessary and specific technical support to define the appropriate thickness according to the particularities of each project. Glass with colored paints vitrified on a surface and applied with conventional screen printing or digital

processing. Through a further

thermal process, resistance, durability and color stability are achieved. Thus, quality is warranted over a long period

f time. All type of images

can be screen-printed. Digital printing is available for pieces up to 12,000 mm x 3,200 mm. The new VitroJet Kinetic Side Printing technology offers extreme accuracy in the definition of shades and colors. It is capable of printing more than 12 square meters per hour.

ISOLAR NEUTRALUX

It is an insulating glass unit (IGU) with a low emissivity coating that can reduce the exchange

f energy. Thus, we

guarantee a suitable level

f comfort inside the
building. The maximum

insulation coefficient is equivalent to that of a brick wall with an energy reduction of up to 70% compared to traditional glass. Through a mixture of intelligent compositions and coatings it is possible to achieve a high percentage of light and thermal performance that will allow to satisfy all the clients´needs. Tvitec could produce this pane in a thickness of between 3 and 12 mm, with a length

f up to 12 meters.

TVITEC manufactures Insulating Glass Units under the brand name “ISOLAR” in accordance with the most important international norms and

standards. Double and

Tvitec is manufacturing 15,000 square meters

f high performance glass for the new Google

headquarters in Mountain View, California. The headquarters of the technological giant is designed by two of the most prestigious architecture studios in the world, BIG and Adamson Associates. The pieces of insulating glass show a very unique digital screen printing for Google, different shapes, and large units. Glasses incorporate very special and fine processes of tempering and lamination to ensure maximum safety and soundproofing. In addition, they combine special coatings to reach the maximum brightness, take advantage

f daylight and obtain energy efficiency.
