• In the few weeks after we received the last dataset (April 30) there were

more than twice as many new students who dropped *all* of their classes.

• The first wave saw 783 students drops, the recent spike saw 2,149 for a

total of 2,932 Mesa students who have dropped *all* of their classes.

• Compared to the first wave, the second spike saw a higher % of
• Hispanic/Latinx students (40% to 45%)
• Males (48% to 52%)
• 18-24 y/o (43% to 64%)*
• Degree/Transfer Students (47% to 66%)*
• .5-15 units Cum. Units earned (27% to 31%)
• .1-2.0 and 2.0-less than 3.0 Cum. GPA
