  • Where appropriate provide support that is: sensitive,

patient, listens not judges, encourages access to support

Organisations:

  • Adopt a domestic abuse policy with a commitment to zero

tolerance

  • Train frontline workers to understand, assess & respond

appropriately to disclosed or suspected domestic abuse

  • Be aware of and communicate referral pathways to support

services
