Pavement Rating Scale Asphalt

  • Level 1 : “Raveling” of surface aggregate
  • Level 2 : Isolated cracking
  • Level 3 : Water in the sub-grade/ stone

layer

  • Level 4 : Localized alligator/ network

cracking

  • Level 5 : Widespread alligator cracking
  • Level 6 : Complete pavement failure
slide-9
SLIDE 9

Rate of Deterioration

  • The rate of deterioration is dependent
  • n the strength of the sub-grade, the

thickness of the stone and asphalt layers and the amount of truck traffic the pavement receives (Same goes for Concrete)

Pavecon has done an excellent job in controlling the W orkers Com pensation Modifier( Calculated by NCCI ) . As you know the Modifier of 1 is considered neutral or an average mod anything below 1 is a credit modifier. I have only gone back 5 years to illustrate what a great job your

  • rganization has done in controlling losses.

AUTO Claims You also have a very good trend going in your auto claims. In auto you have 3 open claims from 2010, 5 from 2011 and 3 from 2012. The highest reserve for 2011 and 2012 is 12,000. GL Claims I have actually saved the best for last. In GL claims there are 5 open claims going back to 2007. The only claim reserved is a claim from 2007 and the rest are considered defensible at this point and have 0 reserves. It is obvious your Risk Management Plan/ loss control plan is working well. Keep it up.
