Common Issues

  • drainage details within red line site boundary
  • existing and proposed site sections and finished floor

and site levels – fixed datum point

  • drawings indicating relationship between existing and

proposed developments (where adjoining or in close proximity)

  • plans must not say “do not scale”.
  • useful to have plan titles and drawing nos. –

especially revision nos. with dates

  • MSC applications – need to know what conditions

are being applied for – be specific eg. 3(a)

slide-9
SLIDE 9

Common Issues (cont)

  • Fees – if unsure – ask Technicians!
  • Reminder – if previous application withdrawn – “free

go” only if within 1 year of date we received it.

  • Reminder – if previous refused – “free go” if same

development only if 1 year of refusal decision.

  • Always use eplanning address rather than individual

Technician address.

  • Online applications – if invalid for wrong form please

do not use portal to resubmit – results in new application on system – use new form received from Technicians – submit to eplanning.

(eplanning), get allocated and acknowledge

  • 28 days
  • appreciate timescales – planners reminded of

importance
