S6 Blazer
S6 blazers have blue braiding. Prefects have additional green braiding on the cuffs, deputes have silver and the head boy and head girl have gold. The Prices vary according to size.
S5 Blazer
S5 blazers have braiding on the pockets and sleeves. The additional S6 braiding is added at the end of the year. This allows pupils two years’ wear from their blazers and so provides better value for money. Prices vary according to size.
S1-S4 Blazer
Most parents choose the polyester blazer with embroidered
- badge. A woollen blazer is also available. Prices vary
according to size. Wool blazer Polyester or Eco blazer
Outdoor Jackets
When outdoor jackets are worn to school, perhaps due to adverse weather, they should be plain and have no obvious logos. This has always been and remains the uniform policy at Williamwood. Outdoor jackets should be removed once in the school building. Please note that we are able to provide every pupil with an individual locker. The lockers provide our pupils with somewhere to store their outside jackets.
Girls’ Skirts
Box-pleat skirt. Available in lengths 18, 20 and 22 inches. The skirt should be of an appropriate length (skirt should touch the top of the knee and not be lycra material). Prices vary according to size.

Girls’ Trousers
Girls’ boot cut trousers. The following items are not acceptable:
- Black denims
- Jeans
- Leggings
- Shorts
- Footless tights
Boys’ Trousers
Boys’ trousers. The following items are not acceptable:
- Black denims
- Jeans
- Grey trousers
- Pinstripe trousers
- Combat trousers
- Tracksuit trousers
School Shirts
Traditional school shirts should be worn at all times. Fashion shirts should be avoided. Shirts should be tucked in.
Jumpers/Cardigans
If a pupil wishes to wear a jumper or cardigan, it should be plain black with a v-neck. The following should be avoided:
- Hooded tops
- Vest tops
- Items with logos
- Tracksuit tops
Footwear
Only formal, black school shoes should be worn. The following items are not acceptable:
- Black trainers
- Black canvas

Sports Uniform
All pupils participate in P.E. Pupils must bring their P.E. kit to every lesson. The Williamwood logo sky blue t-shirt can be purchased from the P.E. department at a cost of £8.

- Navy or black shorts
- Appropriate training shoes (clean
footwear for indoor use)
